Fresh Vegetable Basket

Every stay at Yahshua Organic Farm & Retreat ends with something you can hold in your hands as well as your heart: a Fresh Vegetable Basket drawn straight from our fields. When we first walked the land and prayed over the rows, the Lord reminded us of Proverbs 3:9, "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops." This basket is our way of honoring Him and blessing you.

Each basket is filled with whatever the season is singing at that moment - crisp lettuces, vine-ripened tomatoes, bright peppers, tender herbs, or sweet root vegetables still dusted with the soil they grew in. You see the color, feel the coolness, and smell that just-picked fragrance you simply cannot find in a store. Guests often tell us they can taste the difference in a simple salad or a pan of roasted vegetables shared around the table when they return home.

We call it our First Fruits gift because it carries more than nutrition. It is a reminder that God still provides daily bread, that the seed you sow in prayer and obedience will one day become a harvest you can gather with joy. Many families use the basket for a small thanksgiving meal, a Sunday supper, or a shared dish with neighbors, extending the blessing beyond the farm.
